Características estructurales de los estudios sobre Periodismo Inmersivo 2010-2020

Resumen

El artículo investiga y sistematiza las características estructurales de los estudios publicados sobre Periodismo Inmersivo (PI) entre los años 2010 y 2020, localiza las referencias más citadas y las nuevas vertientes sobre el tema. El concepto de PI fue acuñado a partir de la referencia de De la Peña et al. (2010). El periodismo realizado con tecnología y Realidad Virtual (RV) busca recuperar la implicación emocional del público en los acontecimientos, permite una mayor empatía y comprensión de una realidad relatada (Domínguez, 2015). El PI es un objeto de investigación emergente, al igual que la tecnología de RV, y exige sistematizaciones y actualizaciones bibliográficas. El artículo utiliza el método de Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS), del software Gephi, para crear redes semánticas con el fin de identificar y analizar la coocurrencia, centralidad y comunidades formadas a partir de las palabras clave encontradas en las investigaciones catalogadas con el término "periodismo inmersivo". Se consultaron las bases Web of Science, Scopus, Scielo, Portal de Periódicos y Portal de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES. Entre los resultados, en la última década, hay un protagonismo de las instituciones españolas en la acogida de la investigación sobre la PI. En 2020, el crecimiento de los debates teóricos se alineó con el uso de la tecnología de RV en el periodismo y el enfoque se centró en los estudios de recepción.
